Key Messages for Testimony/Written Comments
-
Montana is a rural state, and our current system for providing EMS and ambulance services is not serving our communities. These should be considered ESSENTIAL services with funding to back it up.
-
This is a big and complex problem, and we would ask the committee to make this study a priority during the interim to ensure we find real solutions.
-
In addition to proposing legislative solutions, we would ask this committee to explore ways in which the Montana Executive Branch, our Congressional delegation, and neighboring states can find solutions to address this crisis.
